I have worked for Camp Caroline in 2014 and 2015 which was a week long overnight camp. This experience has strengthened my childcare skills both in child supervision but also with activities and connecting with kids in a variety of age groups. I have also babysat for eight years and have enjoyed the relationships and lifelong connections that came as a result. This experience has strengthened my desire to work with kids as I have seen the positive impact I can have in a kid's life. As well as the impact of encouraging them in their strengths and showing them they are loved and cared for. My long- term focus is to work with children who are at risk and provide them with counselling and education.
