I am just graduating high school with a dual diploma in child care. I love children and have been working with children from infant up from the age of twelve and have lots of experience working with kids. I also volunteered at our church nursery since the age of twelve. As a result of my volunteering I was asked to be the childcare supervisor taking care of school aged children while their parents were in ESL classes. I was responsible for interacting with 3 - 6 children, conducting programs and activities and encouraging conversation in English and worked alone without supervision. Because of my passion for children I asked for and received special permission from the school to pursue a childcare diploma while getting a regular diploma. After graduation my plan is to take time off from school to work prior to going into Education at the University of Winnipeg. I have my CPR up to date and would be willing to get a criminal record check and so on. I also have my own vehicle for transportation.
