Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

I am finishing up my last year of Elementry Education and am looking for a Nanny position for evenings and weekends. Throughout the years I have had various experiences working with children at the elementary level as well as adults and children with special needs. From the age of 14 to 19 I spent my summers working for a company called Gregg Distributors. In those years I spent most of my time packaging products and assisting the Chrysalis workers; Chrysalis is a program that helps adults with special needs be included and incorporated into the work place. The people I have met through the program are absolutely wonderful and made working in a warehouse for 12 hours a day completely worth it. I have also assisted in many programs through St. Albert Ringette, as well as coordinated and ran their Active Start Program for the past three years. From all of these experiences I have learned to be confident, comfortable and enthusiastic around any group of people. Most of all, I have learned that the best sort of teaching comes from when students are engaged and enthusiastic about learning.
