Hello. My name is Nicole. I am a 30 year old female living in Toronto, ON. I moved to Toronto from Calgary, AB just over one year ago. When I was living in Calgary, I received a diploma in Early Learning and Child Care from Mount Royal University. Once I completed my diploma, I immediately acquired a teaching role at Panda Childcare and taught in a classroom with 12 children and one other teacher. The children were aged from 19 months to 36 months. I worked at Panda Childcare for two years. At Panda, my goal was to provide a high quality early childhood program within a safe and nurturing environment, allowing children to develop independence, confidence, and a positive sense of themselves and the world around them. I developed programs that challenged and stimulated each child through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities to enhance language, literature, music and movement, creativity and socialization. I encourage warm social relationships to develop through interactions with adults and other children. I established daily routines to ensure a secure and healthy environment. I have also worked at Kids & Company for one year. I was working with toddlers aged 19 months to 36 months as well. I would occasionally work in the Pre-School classroom also. My hobbies are bike riding, swimming, music, art, yoga and cooking. I really love working with children and feel like care giving is my true calling. I have my license and access to a vehicle 24/7. My availability would be Monday - Friday until 7:00PM.
