Nanny in Gloucester, Ontario

My name is Kassandra Powell, I am 21 years old and I am currently at Carleton University studying Child Studies. What I hope to do with this degree is either to further my education and go to teachers college, or go to Algonquin college and take the Behavioural Science course. This Behavioural Science course would make me qualified to teach autistic children. I am a loving, caring and smart person with experience working with children in a daycare facility. I worked in the toddler room, taking care of children between the ages of 1 and 2. We were responsible for changing the children, feeding the children, playing with the children as well as giving them the love and attention that is needed at this age. At this daycare, we worked with the ratio technique which for this particular age group is 5 children to 1 worker. Working with children in my opinion is so rewarding because they are continuously learning from you and you get to be a role model figure in their life. Being a role model to children is important to me because being raised right has multiple beneficial factors for children in the future. I did my CPR and First Aid training in June 2017. I am willing to be a live-out nanny, providing before and after school care. I love animals, so family pets are okay with me. I have my drivers license so i can drive the kids to/ pick them up from school. I am available if you need occasional weekend babysitting as well. I can cook so I can prepare meals for the children. I wish to provide the best care possible for your children, while having fun as well!
