I'm Jonalyn Florida, 26 of age. I'm married already but no kids. I'm a Registered Nursein the Philippines. After passing my examination and have license I applied to the Hospital as Volunteer Nurse, my inclusive date of training is August01,2013-October 31,2013. Then after my training I worked as Caregiver at Asilo De Molo (Home for the aged) for almost 2 months while waiting for my papers to be processed here at Singapore. Then exactly June 02,2014 I arrived here at Singapore to work as Nursing Aide. I describe myself as joyful, caring and patience person. I love my work and I considered it as my passion. As a Nursing aide at Singapore, my job became more tough because I'm handling a patient with mental disordered, dementia, cerebral palsy and autism. My work was to take care of them like preparing their meal, cahnding their diaper from time to time, do bedmake in their beds, giving medication on time and bathe them. The situation is more tough when they are having their tantrums, agitated or aggressive. When it happens you need nto think quick on how to calm them . I find it challenging for me. When it comes to my family, I valued it most of the time. They are my strenght when I having difficulties at work. My parents both died. When I was at my secondary level my father died while my mother died when I worked here for almost 6 months. Moreover, I need to focus at my work because I'm the breadwinner in my family. The numbers of my family became more bigger because my two sister have their own children. The eldest have 4 kids and the third one have 1 child. I remembered when I was in the Philippines, I'm the one who taking care oy my niece. Prepared their meals, put clothes on them and drop them to their school. I'm doing it when their mother go for work at early. They considered me as their secong mother. My two brothers still went to school and the othe is looking for the job.
