Hello, My name is Janice. I am a 8 year-old half Filipina/Dutch decent, professional dance educator and recording artist. I grew up in Woodstock ON before moving to the USA for studies. I studied dance at The Boston Conservatory. Later graduated with an Artium Baccalaureus (Honors) degree in Theatre & Dance from Rollins College in Orlando Florida. Afterwards, I moved to NYC on a work visa choreographing Off-Broadways and teaching dance education at a couple dance studios in New Jersey. I am now developing my startup for a dance fitness studio while partaking in artistic gigs, as well as a visual merchandiser for Adidas Canada. I have several years of experience in teaching, babysitting and nannying all ages. I love cooking, playing sports and doing arts and crafts. What sets me apart from other applicants is that I am a firm believer that children are our future and with the development of my start up company, I am extremely dedicated to providing a dance and fitness mentorship program for children in need. I am an extremely dedicated adult who holds a strong passion for educating and building leadership in our newest generation. I am a loving caretaker with great organizational skills. I have a G license, clean police check, first aid certification and CPR training. I grew up with an older brother who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy before I was even born, meaning I have endless years of experience in working with a variety of children with special needs.
