Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! I am 32 year old mom to a 6 year old daughter. I Spend as much time as I can with my 8 and 5 year nephews and have been a big part of their lives since they came into this world. I love to plan play dates as much as possible. I love kids. I’m looking for a long term position with a family as a Nanny/House Manager. Where we can form meaningful bonds. Going to parks, skating, swimming, zoos, museums, local farms and libraries are just a few things that you would hear about in “what did you do today?” I love to bake with the kids and doing age and seasonally appropriate crafts with everyday household items. I am a huge fan of Inquiry based learning and having a whole lot of fun while doing it. Healthy well balanced meals are very important to me and I love to get the kids helping make choices in what we make. I am not a fan of screen time for kids and believe that music and reading are great alternatives for some down time. Clean as you go is something I practice all day everyday. From making beds first thing in the morning to putting away one game before starting another I like to keep a tidy house. I’d be happy to help your household in anyway you need admin tasks, housework, and meal prep. Before I had my daughter I was a Education Assistant in a school for special needs kids in Calgary. And for the past 5 years I’ve been the 1st assistant for a McDonalds. I have a lot of experience not only with children of all ages but lots from co running a multi million dollar a year buss.
