I am looking to gain more experience working with youth, which has led me to apply for this job. I am extremely passionate about working in this field and helping to advocate for clients to succeed in either their education and achieving goals. I have worked in a school site multiple times during my placements and have learned a lot about students needs and to help them achieve goals and become more independent. During my placement, I gained experience in dealing with youth with ADHD, Autism, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Tourette’s syndrome, and children with intellectual disabilities. I have additional training with AODA customer service and human rights training for Queens University and I have training in CPI with St. Lawrence College. In addition, gateway training and ASIST Training with St. Lawrence College. I have worked with families during my placement to guarantee that their son or daughter is in a safe working environment, and becomes successful with reaching their goals. Furthermore, I am used to working under pressure at my jobs as well as working in a fast paced environment to make sure things are done on time. During my placement and jobs, I brought a positive attitude while working with a team. I am outgoing, energetic, hard working, and reliable.
