I'm Katie, and I'm looking for work with a family that shares similar values and whose parenting/childcare styles align closely with my own. Having spent the past several years studying midwifery, I have acquired an astounding amount of knowledge regarding pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and of course I am very comfortable with caring for newborns. I also have over a decade of childcare experience with children of all ages, and can provide excellent references. I have a lot of experience with an attachment-parenting style of childcare, and am comfortable with concepts such as baby-led weaning, baby wearing, and cloth diapering. In addition to my midwifery and childcare background, I also provide birth and postpartum doula services.
