My name is Brendan and I have a strong background and passion for working with children. I have been a competitive and recreational dance teacher for the past seven years and am experienced in working with children from the ages of 4 to eighteen. I currently work at O’Neil Academy of Dance in London Ontario. Furthermore, I have completed my Honours Bachelor of of Arts in Sociology with a focus on children and women. I am equipped with the educational, child development and analytical skills in working with children in the most beneficial manner. I am currently enrolled at Western University in the Bachelor of Education program where I am continuing to enrich my skills in working with and educating children. My passion in life is dance and I love the arts. I am interested in dance, music, movies, children’s literature/books, writing, researching, outdoor activities, swimming, hiking, walking, the gym, tutoring/teaching/educating and working with children. I was the Artistic Director of a dance studio in Toronto, Jazz Be Nimble and I am fully equipped with the organisational, managerial and leadership skills that will allow me to perform my job in a successful manner. I am responsible, punctual, time manage accordingly, able to communicate effectively with both children and adults and I have out-going, energetic and infectious personality.
