Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi there! I am a highly energetic, nurturing and positive minded young woman. I hold a bachelors of applied health science degree in athletic therapy. I have always had a passion for working with young children and I am looking to expand into the realm of child care. Currently, I work as a clinical practitioner at a Physiotherapy clinic where I'm required to treat and assess patients. My job requires that I possess patience, understanding and compassion. I have experience bathing, dressing, changing diapers, feeding and playing with infants and young children. My previous work experience includes working as a counsellor and medical personnel at children's camps. These jobs involved teaching young children the foundations of basketball, supervising play and the medical supervision and attention of campers. I have also had the opportunity to work one on one with an elderly women assisting in daily hygiene, meal preparation, transportation and daily household chores. I believe that these skills would be highly transferable to any nanny position. I also hold my first responder certification which allows me to respond to any unforeseen medical emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner. I draw energy and excitement from working with children and truly enjoy there company.
