Nanny Job in Elora, Ontario

We are looking for a responsible and experienced caregiver to provide care for our two school-aged daughters in our home in Elora. Candidate must love children and respect a healthy lifestyle of organic foods and natural medicines, plenty of outdoor time and exercise, etc. It is essential that you are well organized, tidy, motivated, honest and genuinely kind. Care would be required for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week around the children's school hours. Must have valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Responsibilities will include: - Assisting with a morning routine already in place - Ensuring organization, structure and cleanliness is respected in the home - Ensuring children are ready and prepared for school (e.g. bags are packed and properly unpacked at end of day) - Walking/driving children to and from school - Assisting with school work and music - Housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, washing the children's dishes, clean-up, light dinner preparations - Reading stories, encouraging play through activities, games and imaginative play - Assisting/encouraging children to contribute to family responsibilities with age-appropriate tasks - Teaching love, kindness and teamwork through consistently modelling behaviours that align with these values A police check and driver’s license is required. First aid and CPR would be a valuable asset. Must be a non-smoker and committed to respecting a no-scent policy in our home due to allergies and sensitivities.
