Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! My name is Elizabeth and I am currently enrolled at the Werklund School of Education through the University of Calgary to become an elementary school teacher. I love spending time with children and have much experience working with a variety of ages. From October to January, I have been a nanny/tutor for three children who attended online school (grade 1, 5, and 7). However, they are going back to school in-person in February, so I will be out of a job and looking for another family to help.
I also have a six year old nephew for whom I have helped care for since he was a baby. I have been babysitting him since he was two weeks old and have lots of experience preparing him meals, putting him to bed, bathing him, taking him on outings, etc. Sadly, he is back home in Ottawa with the rest of my family. I recently moved to Calgary for school in September, after graduating from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Art History.
During high school, I was a professional tutor through Kumon Learning Centres for children ages 4-10. In grade 11, I was also a Co-op student in an elementary school classroom, as well as a frequent babysitter for my nephew and other children in my community.
More recently, I have volunteered as my nephew's assistant soccer coach, I have taught a few different children piano lessons, and I have volunteered in a number of elementary school classes.
Bonus: I absolutely love animals and have tons of experience taking care of dogs and young puppies.
