Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello, I am hoping to find work MWF near to the university area/ Whyte Ave. I am currently studying at the U of A in my third year of elementary education and hoping to find a family to develop a meaningful relationship with and to work alongside to create the best possible environment for your family. I have experience working at Wildflowers Childcare in Jasper, a centre heavily focused on outdoor natural learning and lightly influenced by Waldorf practises. I have also worked in Thailand as an English teacher (ages 18 months-5 years.) Here I had my own classroom with 15 children of varied ages and no common language. It was the most challenging yet rewarding experience of my life. I have also worked in my hometown of Grande Cache as a summer student in the Creative Kids Preschool where I helped to implement parented programs and worked on designing an outdoor classroom. In addition to all my professional experience my hobbies of gardening, reading, travelling, yoga and anything outdoors also influence the kind of person I am and how I will be when I am with your family. I am really hoping to find a family with similar values who I can grow with. This will be my first time as a nanny, but with my education experience and lots of babysitting experience I know I am cut out for this job!
