Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi there. I'm a mom who never knew she wanted to be a mom and now (not-so) secretly loves it. Our family of four is looking for a caregiver who is going to be lovingly obsessed with our baby boy Jordan (and very occasionally the toddler). We are looking for a fun, tolerant (LGBTQ friendly), and passionate care provider who knows the difference between black and green kale, but also knows that sometimes kids need to have an ice cream cone to stay cool in the summer. Our oldest son is in preschool, but given current circumstances may be home at some point. Compensation for the additional child can be discussed and agreed upon in advance. This kale aficionado (I'm kidding, you can also love avocados) will be someone seeking part time or full time employment playing with baby Jordan in our home while the parents are working in the office. Snack and lunch time preparation and feeding would also be cool, because the wee man has quite the appetite and he will let you hear about it. If mornings work better for you - we would look for someone who can care for Jordan until nap time (around 1pm). If full time, we could discuss working hours and what work would take place during his naps. Jordan is a loveable baby. He is easy going, snuggly, funny - but also very chatty and already walking at ten months old! So you've got to be active and a loving person towards our little guy. It would also be amazing if you loved to sing or dance with little ones as the wee man in charge loves music of all kinds. We will be moving to Harkness Ave, in Riverside Park - near Mooney's Bay. Technically close to transit but let's be honest, OCTranspo can be pretty unreliable wherever you are. We also take CoVID restrictions very seriously, and our only exposure is our oldest son's daycare at this time. Not really negotiable: CPR/ First Aid, Police Check, start date mid-December or first thing in January 2021, sense of humour. Negotiable: Salary, love of kale or avocados (hahaha I can't help myself now).
