Nanny in Oakville, Ontario

I am a Psychology graduate with an English minor available to work in an environment where I am able to help children reach their personal and creative goals. Work as a nanny, babysitter or mother's helper would provide me the opportunity to put my potential to use, so I can pursue my goal of encouraging positive and healthy growth during formative years. I believe I would make an excellent choice as a nanny as have a vested interest in psychology, child development and education. I lean toward child directed learning, meaning that I take cues from your child on what they would like to explore in their free time while still encouraging creativity and independence whenever I can. My favourite things to do with the children during my time as a daycare attendant was to do arts and crafts with them, and teach them new songs on my guitar. I have proven myself capable of handling a wide variety of personalities and do not shy away from a challenge. My work at a group home for schizophrenic men combined with my education has prepared me to work with disabled people as well, and I am LGBTQ/trans/POC positive. I also love animals and am happy to help care for any household pets.
