Hi! My name is Esther. I came to Canada in 2010 after I graduated from High School in China. After studying enginerring in Simon Fraser University(SFU) for 2 years, I realize that being with young children and being as a great influence in their life is what my heart truly desired for. So I went to Sprott Shaw College in 2013, and successfully gained Early Childhood Education Diploma in July, 2014. I've been working since I graduated in college. I worked as a preschool teacher at Bibleway Christian Academy for 2 years. I managed a class of 8 4-year olds, developed specific criculum for the groups, and had fun and grew together with my children. Meanwhile, I also worked as a part-time teacher at Alexander Neighberhood House with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children. Starting in November, 2015 until now, I was hired at Kids and Company in their infants and toddlers' room. I believe that each child is unique, and deserves an individule-development opportunity. I strongly agree that a teacher is not only a guide for the children, but also a partner of the parents(family). I am really patient and love to listen to the children's insides. Providing an appropriate and children's interests guided activities and learning environment is my goal. I am also very organized, energetic, positive, friendly, etc. On-going learning is my another skill. I am so happy about what I am doing. Under the influence of my father who is a middle school science teacher and all my other teachers who taught me through my school years, I am proud to say that now I can impact more young children's life in a positive way just like what the did for me!
