Hello there! My name is Kassandra and I am very pleased to introduce myself to you! From a young age I knew I had a strong passion to work with children. I grew up babysitting children in my neighbourhood, and started my first job as a camp counsellor as a young teenager. After many years of being a camp counsellor I decided after high school to further my education in child development by attending post-secondary school. I have recently received my diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. However, my program at George Brown College is in partnership with Ryerson University, and over the next few years I hope to receive my bachelors in Early Childhood Development. I am currently taking a year off from my studies before completing two years at Ryerson University to better my understanding of childhood development, and to gain experience working with a variety of different age groups. Currently, I am a full-time ECE to a wonderful group of senior preschoolers! I have a strong background in child development, with a love of maintaining a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children to thrive in.
