Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a family of 4 looking for a Full Time, Live Out Nanny in the East End of Toronto (St. Clair and O'Connor). Our kids are three and 1 years old. Our neighbourhood is close to several parks and outdoor spaces, so this opportunity will be a rewarding position for a Nanny that enjoys spending time outside and engaging children in physical and intellectual activities. Flexibility to work between 8 am and 530 pm may be required. Duties include full day supervision of the 1 year old as well as taking the 3 year old to and from school in the morning and minding her in the afternoons. The time with the children should be a mix of free-play and enrichment activities (i.e. trips to the local library, park, and drop-in center). Meal preparation and tidying up after the children would be required. The children are most comfortable in a relaxed, nurturing environment that allows them to develop as individuals and in their own unique ways. We strive to make healthy life choices, but don’t sweat the occasional indulgence or lazy day. The house is a 15-20 minute bus ride from Main or Woodbine subway station. a valid drivers license and own transportation is a strong assert. We are looking for a Nanny with experience and/or relevant education and good references. The ideal candidate will have a warm, kind and fun loving character and will have good chemistry with our children upon meeting them. Pay is negotiable.
