I would like to express my sincere interest in providing care for your little ones, in your home, starting in June 2016. I am very passionate about my work as an Early Childhood Educator because children are so creative, curious, and capable - every day is an adventure! My two greatest joys are promoting early literacy and sharing my appreciation of nature. There are so many amazing opportunities to explore and learn through play outside - rain or shine. I obtained my licensed certification from Thompson Rivers University in 2007 and I have worked in a variety of roles including supervising a preschool aged program and supporting children with unique developmental needs. I gained valuable experience over the last few years in my position at a licensed child care centre downtown by working in partnership with the team, children, families, and the community. I strive to offer care that is positive, warm, and respectful while helping children meet their developmental goals through play. To ensure that my practices are current I attend several professional development workshops and I renew my First Aid annually. I'm currently enjoying Maternity Leave and I would love the opportunity to continue caring for my daughter, who will be one year old, while working with other children. I am interested in providing full time care for up to two additional children ages 1.5-5 so this would be perfect for a family!
