Helllo!! My name is Kylie, & I am seeking a care provider position in Nepean, Ontario. I am a 24-year old student currently in my fourth year(last) of my psychology degree at Carleton U. I am working in the OCDSB as an EA in an Autism program for teens with ASD, but i have over 8 years experience working with individuals of all ages (newborn - 80 years old), including working with a vast amount of different disabilities. Services And Training: I have 3 younger siblings, between ages 7-18 years, so I have lots of experience working with them and i have been babysitting since the age 13. I have been so lucky to have an opportunity to work at Community Living during the summers with adults with developmental disabilities, as well during a placement in my Behavioral Psychology program, I was a student teacher within a grades 5 & 6 class. I have experience with diaper changing, afterschool care, meal prep, and homework help. I have also graduated from Fitness and Health Promotion where i have obtained my personal training certification and have experience working with children within the fitness community. I will also be using this to coach some sport teams on the side, and at the school i work at. I have also obtained a position working as a part-time ABA Therapist working with children that have developmental disabilities, and then was promoted to a Lead ABA Therapist where i did a lot of training for new hired therapist. Within this role I provided one on one behaviour therapy for young children with Autism. I now work as an education Assistant at a high school in an Autism program for teens, where we help teach these individuals more life skills and job placements.
