Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello! We are an active, artistic, academic, athletic and very happy family seeking a warm and loving helper to pick up our kids from school and help around the house from 2pm - 6pm M-F. We live in Ancaster with our cat and three children. Our son is a very active, fun, silly and warm 7-year-old. He has some delays and can demonstrate hyperactivity and impulsiveness. He also has some challenges with toileting. We have many tried and true interventions to help him that can easily be learned and applied. Our daughter is (almost) 6 and will essentially be your assistant. She is very helpful, fun, creative, active and social. We also have a 3 year old, but she is in full-time daycare so you would rarely see her (we may ask for a pick up, etc. here and there). For us, it is very important that our babysitter loves the outdoors as our son needs to be outside for a good portion of the time. It's also helpful if you have studied and/or have an interest in child development (an interest in ADHD and learning disabilities is helpful) and/or or social work/social services - but this is also not absolutely necessary. We also hope that you are flexible with duties. As for your character - we hope that you are patient, fun, kind and assertive with a very strong work ethic.
