Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a full time live out nanny in North Vancouver. You would mainly be caring for our infant, but would occasionally care for our 2.5 year old (who currently attends daycare). We are looking for a caring, nurturing, fun loving, energetic, reliable and experienced nanny. Duties will include caring for the children, cuddling, planning fun and educational activities, preparing healthy meals, and occasionally attending pre- arranged activities. We are not looking for a maid but during nap times some light housekeeping duties would be expected (such as kids laundry). The priority however will always be foremost, keeping our little one safe, happy and healthy. Compensation will include: $12 - $15 / hour (depending on experience and fit to qualifications), vacation and bonuses. The position would begin September 1st, 2011. Hours are negotiable, but in general would be 9am to 5pm. Qualifications we are looking for: - Must be positive, energetic and love to play inside and out. - Must be caring, nurturing and love little ones - Min 5 years of experience with babies and toddlers - Care giver certification or equivalent courses is preferred - Fluency in English - Canadian resident, landed immigrant status or work permit - Non smoker - Be willing to have a criminal record check completed - Infant and Child CPR/First Aid (or be willing to complete the course, at our expense) If you fit the above description and have a professional approach to your career as a nanny, we would love to meet you.
