Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello families! My name is Jocelyn MacDonald and I am 22 years old, born and raised in Cape Breton! I've been caring for children since the age of 12 and have obtained nearly every certification at my disposal since that age. From babysitting courses, to First Aid AED CPR Level C, I even have experience working as a cook for 4 years! I'm driven and reliable, two things that help define me, but that's not all. I'm artistic and creative, with a dash of natural intelligence--which means homework and after school activities are a breeze. I enjoy photography, exploring, and nature. I'm very open-minded and am willing to embrace almost anything! I have been living and working in Victoria, BC for the last 2 years for a family I met through this very site. 1 year was a live-in situation, and the second year was live-out since I had my son. The two children I was nannying have outgrown their need for this full-time nanny, so it is now time to move on. With this family, I was responsible for childcare, transportation to/from school & activities, meal prep and planning, laundry, grocery shopping, and general household upkeep. I also took care of their two cats, and am very comfortable with animals. We are relocating back to Halifax as of October 1, 2018. My son, Isaac, is 7 months old and such an easy going baby! If given the opportunity, it would be a privilege to have my son join me at work, but I have care available for him separately if need be.
