Dear potential family. I am a 22 year old girl looking for a family that I can mesh and interact with. I want to help you and alleviate any stress you may have by creating a stable and loving atmosphere for their children while they are with me. I was home-schooled my entire life, and grew up in a family with four younger siblings. I will care for your children as I would my own brothers and sisters whom I love dearly and would do anything for. I want your children to feel safe, secure, loved, adored, important, special and stable no matter what their surrounding environment may be. I love to care for people, but especially children who are so vulnerable and easily trusting. I want to make sure that they have happy memories and learn all the important things in life. I am a highly active, disciplined, and self-motivated person. I learn and adapt to change quickly, and I love to try new things even if I end up doing it wrong and making everyone laugh. Exercise and outdoor activities are two of my passions, along with baking, cooking, reading, watching movies, dancing, and generally trying to make those around me happy and smile. I have been highly active since I was around 10 years old. My hobbies and activities included swimming, diving, running, gymnastics, karate, ballet, and cycling. I love to start the mornings with a nice long run, time permitting of course. So keeping up with young, energetic children is no problem for me. I also attained my black belt in martial arts when I was 16, and self-defense comes second nature to me. I am constantly alert and wary of my surroundings and the safety of those I am with. When I was 14 I worked as a stable hand at a local horse stable. So I am no stranger to hard work and long hours. And animals do not scare me in anyway. My parents had a small holding when I was growing up, so I am comfortable among pigs, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses to name but a few. I also worked as a volunteer martial arts instructor for around 5 years, I worked with some many children, all different and all special. Some with self-confidence issues and learning difficulties. I loved guiding and assisting the children and watching them discover their abilities and flourishing, becoming confident and proud of their achievements. Babysitting and nannying has always had a place in my life, whether I was looking after my siblings for my parents or my cousins, or the local families, I have always loved being around children and caring for them. Since I was a little girl I wanted to be a Nanny. Mary Poppins was a favourite movie of mine. And I still do want to work with children in a more intimate environment than day-care or school. I have always had a Mother-like character and instinct. I find myself sleeping very lightly when I know there is a baby in the house, their cries will wake me up. When I had completed my education in the United Kingdom at 19, I attended Calvary Chapel bible college in California. Which is where I learned how to rely on myself even more than before, and integrate with a whole new community and culture. I am also a very competent cook. My family has a variety of allergies and such, so I am very capable of cooking for vegetarians, vegans, celiacs, and have experience in baked goods that are free from many common allergens such as eggs, gluten, grains, dairy, amongst other things. I am not a fan of fast food. My personal diet is very simple, I tend to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables for the most part. This is just a small segment of me and my life so far. But if you have any questions, or comments, please message me. I would love to hear from you! Thanks for taking the time to stop on my profile. Chloe My family is bigger than some, I have four younger siblings, and we were all home-schooled until we were college age. I assisted my Mother with all of my siblings; changing nappies, looking after them, feeding them, bathing them, etc. And when they were older I assisted in their schoolwork, etc. At 14 I began working as a martial arts instructor, I also offered private tuition for students that worked better one-on-one as opposed to the large class settings. I have worked with groups as large as 20, acting as head instructor when necessary. I worked with many children, all were special and unique. Some with self-confidence issues and learning difficulties. I loved guiding and assisting the children and watching them discover their abilities and flourishing, becoming confident and proud of their own achievements. I maintained this position until August 2012 when I moved to California to attend college. At 14 I began au pairing/babysitting outside of the family circle. I babysat for various families, sometimes for extended periods of time, sometimes as a nanny. From 2008 I looked after a little boy. He was 2 years old when I began au pairing and I looked after him until he started school in 2011. I would prepare his meals, feed him, bathe and dress him. I instilled a bedtime routine comprising of cleaning up toys, face washing, teeth brushing and lots of stories and cuddles before he would quieten down and sleep soundly through the night. On weekends I sometimes had sole care of him and we would go for walks, play in the local parks, or sit inside and read books and play games to stimulate his imagination. I began volunteering in the creche at our local church in 2010, caring for babies and toddlers all under the age of 5. And have also been through the necessary CPP training and have undergone an extensive CRB before. I volunteered there for around 2 years. I also volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for the local church, and prepared lessons, games and activites for ages 6 through to 12. I began volunteering in 2010 and continued to teach until 2012 before I left for college. I au paired for my two cousins when they were 6 years old, boy, and 4 years old, girl, in 2011. I made sure that the older child was at school on time with his homework done, and that he had a packed lunch. I would take the younger child to toddler groups and entertain her for most of the day. I also helped out with the laundry and other minor household chores. I also bathed them and made sure they were in bed in time. In 2012 I was a part time au pair for two local families. The first family had a little boy, 5 years old, and a little girl, 2 years old. I had sole care of them for a couple of weekends as well as during the week. The second family had an older boy, 8 years old, and a little girl, 5 years old. Nannying has always had a place in my life, whether I was looking after my siblings for my parents or my cousins, or the local families, I have always loved being around children and caring for them. Since I was a little girl I wanted to be a Nanny. I love working with children in an intimate environment. I have always had a Mother-like character and instinct. I find myself sleeping very lightly when I know there is a baby in the house, their cries will wake me up.
