Dear Host Family, Greeting from Thailand. My name is Bussara Krasaeboot and my nickname is Bobo. I am 30 old years. I was born in Nakornsawan where is very famous for the dragon parade festival during the Chinese New Year Celebration. I have two elder brothers. One of my brothers got married and has two daughters. I help my brother take care of my nieces since they were born such as changing diapers, preparing a bottle and taking bath. Now they are 7 and 5 years old. I visit my hometown every weekend. When I go back home, we spend a lot of time together such as taking them to a swimming pool and to a tutoring school. They are like my little sisters. My mom already passed away and my dad is now retired. He likes to spend time doing a farm. He is an energetic and healthy person. When I am home, I like to spend time with my family by eating out, going to the beach, or making a trip together. My dad is a very open-minded and supportive person. When I told him that I would like to go to Canada, he was very supportive and wished me all the best. I received a degree in Nursing Science with a major of Nursing and Midwifery Standard from Rangsit University with GPA 3.32. I also got a Masters Degree of Art majoring in Health and Social Science from Mahidol University which is very outstanding in producing highly qualified and productive Doctors and Nurse into most prestige hospitals throughout Thailand. Currently I am working as a nurse in a Pediatric Department at Jetanin Hospital. My responsibilities include everything related to children such as, checking body temperature, blood pressure, height and weight, providing information on when and which vaccine needed to be shot. Besides working here, I also have a part-time job as a Senior Clinical Researcher. At here, we do research on the fund received from Japan. The topic of researches is different depend our sponsor. The topic research I am working on is about Musosta Drug which is for Geatritis and Esophagitic patients. I have to work many hospitals where we can test our drug with the patients and write a report about the process and result. I have fun doing my job because it means new drugs for healing diseases. Being a nurse has made me to become an even more responsible, delicate, and thorough person because I have to deal with people lives. I started working with real people in a real hospital setting since I was a junior in my university where I had my practical training. I chose to become a nurse because it was something everyone has to deal with. The nurse does not only know how people get sick and how to cure it but also knows how to avoid from being sick and how to maintain a good health. I love to see people take good care of themselves rather than coming to see a doctor. If I see them at my hospital, I am more than willing to help them overcome their sickness and become healthy again. This is the reason why I like my job. My job also gives me a chance to meet new people from different backgrounds. It is fun to talk with people. I think everyone has something you can learn from by talking and meeting new people, I can enjoy every day of my work. I like listening to music, watching movies and reading books. I like reading magazines about health because I can learn new practices about how to get healthy and new researches done on health and diseases. My favorite outdoor activities are swimming and playing badminton. I either go swimming with my friends or my nieces. Thailand is a hot country so I like a water sport such as swimming so much. I am a calm, easygoing, and enthusiastic person. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. Being a caregiver in Canada will give a chance to meet new people from different cultures and gaining new experience. I am very excited about going to Canada and I believe my experience and my passion to learn new things will benefit my work in Canada. Thank you so much for spending time reading my letter. I appreciate the opportunity to work with your family. I am really looking forward to hearing good news from you . Best wishes, Bussara Krasaeboot Currently I am working as a nurse in a Pediatric Department at Jetanin Hospital.
