Dear Family, When I was a child I dreamt of becoming a registered nurse. My motivation to fulfil these dreams is my grandfather. We live in the house together with him. When I was a kindergarten, he was the one who stand as our guardian when my parents got to work. When I reached freshman high school, my grandfather was hospitalized. I feel very sad at that time. After a few days, hes gone and I was devastated. At that time I told to myself I will be a nurse soon so that I can take care whoever got sick in the family. In order to fulfil my dream, I took up nursing. This is all I wanted from the very start. I love caring people. The most challenging part for me is my second year of school. These was the time that the nursing instructors eliminate the students who can not make it in the written and oral exam. I know I can make it because I was knowledgeable, strong and determined. Now my dreams were about to become true, I was qualified to enter my third year of school; the most exciting year for me. I went on to practice nursing on different hospitals. Most of the time they assigned me at pediatric ward, which is one of my favourite ward because I love children. My family were so proud of me when I graduated and passed the Licensure Exam. I immediately applied in a certain medical clinic near to our residence, fortunately I got the job. I worked there not only a nurse but also as a pharmacist, I was the one who ordered medicines to the medical representative and do the inventory. Most of all, my employer entrusted me in giving doctors salary. I was overwhelmed then because of the trust that theyve given to me. After a year, I decided to work abroad because I am looking for a new challenge and I felt ready for a change of pace and new environment and also to increase my knowledge and skills. While waiting for my application to be approved, I was stucked at home for a few months. At home I can not sit without doing something. I was the one who look after my nephew when his mother got to school. I took care of him, feed him, change his diaper and play with him. Fortunately my visa arrived, I am currently working here in Tripoli, Libya as a emergency room and male ward nurse in a government hospital. I have experienced the beauty of taking care the people who are not my relatives, provides nursing care, administer medication, doing CPR during emergency situation, holding the hand of someone who took their last breath. During my day off I took care one of my colleague son especially when his mother going to work. I sincerely love kids; I enjoy interacting with them and find that my energy is well suited in caring for them. As a first timer OFW, I learned things that couldnt be exchanged for anything. I learned how to get with a lot of people that has a different culture and attitudes. I am also good in doing household chores. Additionally, I love cooking. I am willing to be a nanny. I am enthusiastic and ready to share my love, experience and knowledge. Thank you I am a registered nurse i handled childrens with different cases.
