Dear Families,

Nanny in Toronto

Dear Families, I am a fourth year Psychology student studying at the University of Western Ontario. Through my schooling and personal and professional experience I have found that childhood is the most delicate yet influential period of ones life. Positive childhood experiences are essential in healthy development. For this reason, finding someone who you trust to ensure the safety and well-being of your children can be stressful to say the least. My experience, qualifications and enthusiasm means you can be confident that your children will be in good hands. I have 5 years of paid experience working with children (ages 3 months - 14 years; including special needs) whether that be in the summer as a camp counsellor for the Town of Markham, or year round as a childcare worker at Club Markham Gym. I have also volunteered in a classroom as a teaching assistant. I have extensive training and I am certified in Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) as well as HIGH FIVE Healthy Child Development and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute). My experience has provided me with countless activity ideas, so your kids will never spend a day with me plopped in front of the TV! I have access to public transportation as well as a vehicle, and I am willing to work anywhere in the GTA. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all via my email: Thank you, Christina Politis Camp Counsellor - Fred Varley Art Gallery; Town of Markham - 20 children aged 3 - 13 Managed campers safety and well-being, as well as program delivery, supply inventory, administrative tasks (injury reports, attendance and sign-out) and sales of promotional merchandise Facilitated development of artistic skills, self-esteem and peer relations through leadership and programming Addressed and attended to any concerns of parents and family members Ensured camp activities were safe, inclusive, educational, and fun for campers Teaching Assistant - Doctor Roberta Bondar - 20 children aged 5-6 Initiated a 20-minute dance program once a week for first and second grade students to promote physical activity.
