Dear Families, At a young age, my Kindergarten Teacher made me who I am today. A great inspiration with loads of diligence. Throughout my primary and secondary education, amazing teachers who made teaching a very lucrative and desirable occupation has guided me. I have always enjoyed working with children and after I have finished high school I went to college and started my career in Early Childhood. After college I worked as a Teachers Assistant at an after-school club and at a preschool. In 2005 the opportunity was given to live in the USA as an Au-Pair. Off I went to live the so called American Dream. That was the first time I have lived with a family not my own and it was a really delightful experience. I have enjoyed the time immensely and I kept in contact with my Host family. During my Au-Pair time I wanted to volunteer and I asked the local elementary school. It was the best experience so far. Helping the Kindergarten Teacher with daily task and supporting the children in their daily work, special moments such as Show and Tell, Valentines Day and `Book in a Bag`. I kept volunteering after the academic year at First Grade and the German Immersion School in Minnesotathose are moments I will keep forever. After being an Au pair I went to England, as I loved the English language and their history. From the Royal family to Jane Austen and the culture. Living in this historical country for nearly seven years has shaped my thoughts and believes. In September 2008 I started my studies at University and I am nearly finished with my degree. I have worked with children from 2 years up to 14 years of age as a live-in and live-out nanny. I engaged children into developmental activities, homework support and activities to reach their milestones. A modern Mary Poppins, but without the ability to fly. I worked for a year in Switzerland, as an English speaking nursery teacher and it was a lovely experience. I guided children according the EYFS with creative activities. I like everything very well organised and like to plan ahead, which helps the children, parents and the nanny. A good routine, I believe is build through good organisational skills. I am a good team player, down-to-earth and have a calm and gentle personality. Always an idea in my head or up my sleeve. I would love to start my new adventure. I have worked as a Nanny in England with many lovely families. From 2 years up the 14 years of age. Experience with intensive travelling and proxy parenting. Assisting with homework, taking them to after school activities, caring for their emotional well-being. Ensuring safety at all times. Teaching children through play with interesting and developmental activities. A modern Mary Popping without the ability to fly but with more than one umbrella. I have more than 10 years of experience woking with children. I enjoy being with them immensely. I am highly educated who speaks two languages fluently (German/English). I have always something up my sleeve. Organisations is very important to ensure a good routine for everyone- it helps children when they are in a good structured routine. I have an updated First aid and a certificate using an eli-pen. Working with families with allergies and children with illness.
