Dear Employers, Good Day Ma\'am/Sir! I wish to apply a full time live-in caregiver. My name is Angelica, 27 yrs old, I am currently employed here in Hong Kong as a domestic helper/nanny of a 5 yrs old girl for 17 months now. In February 2009, I finished my vocational course of caregiver at Trinity University of Asia (Philippines) and got my TESDA Competency Certificate on the same year. I\'m personable and easy to get along with, I have an excellent employee work relationships, hardworking, responsible, honest, cheerful, honest, fast learner and can work in minimum supervision. I don\'t have children of my own yet but in our culture, having extended family living together made it possible for me to love kids easily. In fact, I never get bore doing kids activities and usually ends up having fun as well. Thank you and have a nice day. My primary responsibility is to take good care of your child, teach manners, ensure proper hygiene, tutoring and provide nutritious food for them. My experience with 2yr old baby/toddler are toilet training, feeding, bathing, do some learning activity such as puzzle, teach them how to count, teach her alphabet and story telling.. Regarding handling temper tantrums, At home: I think kids having tantrum behavior they need to release tension of emotions. They still dont know how to deal with it. Ill give her time to stress her feelings, after that I will comfort her without giving her demands. In a grocery; I will give the kid her toy or offer her something to nibble so to make het get distracted and maybe then she might forget her tantrum. Some case, can pacify her with sweets from the store, its like give treats if they will be good. My experience with a school age are prepare her to school, prepare meal and snack and tutoring, also bring her to play dates, accompany her to her lessons or activity, play learning activities such as puzzle, sorting, do some creative activity like arts and crafts, reading, story telling, for outdoor activity, biking, swimming and go to playground. The most challenging part is to teach them how to be a good kid and try answering their curious questions. For disciplining, i find effective is giving her a time out, Usually I let her stay in a corner to have a few minute for herself, and after that, explain why that was given to her and should discuss the issue
