Nanny in Hamilton, Ontario

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I'm Ashley. I am looking for part-time babysitting/Nanny work in Hamilton, preferably on the East Hamilton Mountain. I’m hoping to start as soon as possible. I am flexible in the schedule we create. I am willing to work part time or full time hours. I am a very creative and organized person. Some hobbies of mine include crafting and sewing. I love to be creative with kids and usually bring a fun activity, craft or game with me so we will never be bored! I am comfortable with pets, having numerous throughout my childhood. I enjoy having one on one time with kids, interacting with them, playing games, doing crafts, watching Disney movies. I am looking for more of a child-care position rather than a housekeeper, but I don't mind the occasional light housekeeping such as light meal prep, dishes after meals, tidying after toys, etc. I have lots of experience working with children through both paid and volunteer experiences including; camp counselor, babysitter, reading buddy program through the public library, teacher assistant and Sunday school teacher. I have also found my previous nannying jobs from this site. Fun Fact about me: I worked in Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida for a year! It was my second time working there and it was the most amazing and magical experience! I just returned home last summer (July 2023) I also studied ASL (American Sign Language) for a year and have a basic conversation level of the language. I am also re-learning French and have a beginner level of the language. I do not have a car or license but I have a bus pass and I'm willing and able to travel anywhere along the Hamilton Bus Routes.
