My name is Sarah, and I love children. I have a one year old myself. I have been working with young dancers since I was 14, and have taught all ages. Before moving to Ottawa in jan the past 10 years, I have been teaching at OneDance Creative Arts Centre in Vancouver, and in that time have developed solid relationships with my dancers and parents that go beyond life in the dance studio. At OneDance I am required to develop and organize learning plans for dance students of all levels and choreograph dances according to skills and strengths of class participants. I am also in charge of preparing yearly reviews for students recommending work plans for skill development and personal growth I also love baking and cooking healthy food. I pride myself in being able to make a lot of items from scratch and coming up with cool creative ideas surrounding food. In addition to creativity with food, I love being creative in other ways. Crafting and creating outdoor adventures are a task I am eager to put together. I think my organization and creative flair will be a benefit in this position. Although I don’t drive I know the bus system very well, and will work towards getting my license if given the opportunity to work with your family.
