Nanny Job in York, Ontario

Hi, we are family of three with soon to be 1 year old baby girl. We are looking for a part-time nanny to help to take care of our daughter while we are working from home. Ideal candidate is energetic, trustworthy, punctual, caring, organized, with good sense of humor and imagination. Location: South west of Eglinton & Caledonia. Start date and duration: August 24th until at least the end of this year (Jan 1). Work hours: Monday - Friday, between 8am-12pm. Responsibilities: - Play time and/or walk with our daughter and wind down (reading) before morning nap. - Prepare and feed light snack after her nap. - Additional play time and/or walk after snack till noon. - Diaper changes as needed. - Hand washing before/after snack, and during/after outside play. - Tidy up after play time and after snack. - Light housekeeping once per week Training and certification required: - Has up to date CPR/first aid certification. - Preferably has criminal reference check - Personal references - Preferably studying towards or accomplished ECE certification (ideal job for ECE student), though not a must. - Able to drive so as to prevent exposure to public transit during this time. - Preferably has no more than one other regular client that for reduced risk of exposure to COVID-19. - Must practice safe social practices during this time including - frequent hand washing, wearing of a facemask and reporting any known potential exposures to COVID-19.
