We are seeking a FULL TIME nanny for our 7 year old and 6 months old child. Child care is the primary focus but the ability to cook, light clean and help with the household is a big advantage. Mom and Dad have busy jobs so we need someone who will be able to handle the day to day without Mom and Dad's involvement. Our ideal candidate would have the following: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience:1 year to less than 2 years Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam , Reference Required Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home Personal Suitability: Organized, Initiative, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability Additional Skills: Shop for food and household supplies, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Specific Skills: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children Work Setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
