Employers: Jwalant Pathak and Ami Pathak Employers’ address: 260 Beaumont Crescent, Kitchener, ON, N2A 0A8 Work Location: same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Bathe, dress and feed infant and children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children • Prepare and serve nutritious meals; prepare vegetarian food • Help to prepare food for the baby • Supervise and care for children • Tend to emotional wellbeing of children • Take children to and from school and to appointments • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant • Prepare infant and children for rest periods • Shop for food and household supplies • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Requirements: -Education: Completion of secondary school is required -Experience: At least a year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required -Criminal record check is an asset -First aid certificate is an asset Salary: $11.75 to $13.75 hourly, 40 Hours per week Benefits: Meal and transportation provided. Important Information: - The nanny will be responsible for the care of 2 children who are 8 and 12 years old and who respectively turn 9 in March and 13 in June. The caregiver will also be responsible for the care of a baby who will be born in August-September 2016. - Flexibility on schedule is required. The candidate will work 8-hour shift per day and the shifts will vary according to the father’s work schedule; shifts may be in the day or in the night. The candidate will work 5 days a week and the working days will vary. - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
