Its the attentive way they listen to a story being read aloud to them. Child Care is helping a child learn play and discover. Its aiding a child into growing into his/her person! Long story short I don\'t want to watch your child play blocks will I eat chips and watch Greys-Anatomy reruns on your couch. I want to help your child build the biggest castle in the world with their blocks I want organize the blocks into their colours and shape categories. Thanks My experience with children started when i was 4 granted i wasn't watching or caring for any at that time but thats how old i was when my brother was born. He was my first introduction to other children. When I was 13 i started baby-sitting with a friend and we watched her 3 younger siblings . I then started watching my neighbours two daughters (aged: 3 and 4) for two hours in the morning while there parents where doing barn chores. I had many other babysitting gigs here and there into my late teens. When i was about 17 i started babysitting for a family friend whom at the time had 2 daughters (aged:2-3) There older daughter diagnosed with sever low functioning autism and epilepsy. I have cared for their now 3 daughters since 2009, i have been watching there youngest daughter since she has been born. During that time i have cared for other families with children on the Autism spectrum. In the last 6 months i have been working with young adults (Functioning at about age 3) who have both mental and physical delays.
