Nanny in Saint John, New Brunswick

Hi ! I’m Lyla, and I’m a 19 year old student who studies at UNBSJ. I’m in search of a part time child care/nanny position. I have a passion for working with children, and my goal after graduation is actually to be a primary school teacher. Although I’m young, I’m thankful to have a good amount of experience. I was lucky enough to work at Stepping Stones in Saint John for nearly a year before they unfortunately closed due to COVID. During my time there, I learned an immeasurable amount of skills and abilities, and education on child care, understanding children, especially those with special needs. It was an excellent learning experience. I’ve had two years now or very hands on personal experience as my younger sister had a baby, and as they say, it takes a village. To this day my nephew stays at my apartment two nights a week. I love working with kiddos, and can’t wait to try nannying, as it’s another new experience. I can assure you I will always have your child’s best interest at heart, and watch over them as if they were my own. I can’t wait to hear from you soon. I look forward to working with you.
