Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi there! My name is Tali, and I am a 21 year old female currently enrolled in the Child and Youth Studies program at Mount Saint Vincent. I have always child minded/ babysat and would love to keep that up while in school. I am available late afternoons, evenings, and Friday through Sunday, as well as anytime in the summer. I do not have a personal mode of transportation, so a family within my area would be preferable. I live in downtown Halifax close to Citadel hill and the Public Library. I love children and take an empathetic Childcare approach, using level-voiced conversation to understand a child's intentions or struggles rather than scold or inflict punishment of any form. I'm a big fan of activities that are actively engaging for children such as art, reading, baking, coming up with games or stories, outdoor play, etc. I also have experience with children with special needs, namely Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Downs Syndrome and I volunteer at the Halifax Junior Bengal Lancer's HALTR program, an Equine therapy program for children with varying special needs and disabilities.
