Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Seeking Part-Time or Full-Time Nanny for 3- and 5-Year Old Children We are two professors looking for a live-out caregiver for our two children (a 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl), either part-time, or full-time. We are looking for a responsible, energetic, child-centric caregiver who enjoys organizing stimulating and varied activities (crafts and reading), games, outings, and who likes spending time outside. If part time, the caregiver would ideally be available Monday through Friday, about 2:30-6:00. Responsibilities would include: • Picking up the children from daycare/SK (same location, using our car) • Bringing them home, playing with them • Light, child-centric housekeeping (putting away their toys with them etc) • We would also welcome a part-time applicant who has occasional full-time availability (when children are on school vacation or staying home) We are also open to hiring someone for a full-time position. In that case, additional responsibilities would include: • Dropping children off to daycare/SK in the morning. • Housekeeping/house managing responsibilities when the children are at school • Caring for children during their vacations (including summer vacation) We are open to applicants looking for a short-term (through June 2022) or a long-term position (through 2023 and beyond). Additional Information: • We are bilingual French-English, and welcome native and fluent speakers of French. That said, French language skills are not a requirement • We are fully vaccinated/boosted (3 year old not yet eligible, but will be vaccinated as soon as can be), and are looking for a caregiver who is fully vaccinated/boosted • Located by Davenport and Christie. • Pay is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. • Start date is negotiable. • First aid/CPR certification is required, and we plan to conduct reference and background checks. • Non-smoking household If this position is of interest to you, please contact us.
