Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi there! My name is Arunima Choudhury. I am currently a student at the University of Toronto, studying humanities and hoping to major in English and Diaspora and Transnational Studies. Although I live in Toronto for eight months of the year, I spend my summers with my mother in Ottawa. I spent my last two years of high-school in Ottawa going to Ashbury College. A little about me, I love reading and being outdoors (Ottawa is beautiful during the summer). I love meeting new people and talking to new people, I am very charismatic. Although I am not studying it, one of my main co-circulars is theatre, so acting, singing and dancing is normally how the day goes by! I do not have much experience working in an individual household, but I was a coach of a gymnastics team with kids aged from 6-16. This meant that I would have a group of about 6 kids in about the same age range, and I would need to devise a safe and effective routine and strengthening circuit for them. This would mean a lot of assessing what their personalities were like, knowing their limits and how much I could push them, but above and beyond, just having a great time. I take a lot of pride in the way I maintain the house - I am very clean. Another one of my favourite things to do in my free time is cooking, so if there were any cooking needs, I would be the first to jump to that! Whenever my mother would have her friends around and I was put in charge of babysitting their kids, one of the first things I would want to go was bake with them!
