Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hello! My name is Maruja and I live in Victoria, BC. I am a formally trained nanny from Colombia and I would love to work with children in Victoria using my native Spanish language. I have a technical degree in Early Childhood Care and Attention (Cuidado y Atencion a la Primera Infancia) from the Tecnisistemas Institute in Bogota, Colombia. This is an intensive program consisting of 2 years of formal studies and practicums in early childhood education. I have 5 years of formal experience as a Nanny employed by various families in Colombia. I am also the mother of a wonderful 23 year old son who is currently studying at La Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I enjoy being outside with children and learning from nature. I also enjoy singing songs, reading books and cooking healthy meals. I am a tidy person who always leaves areas clean and organized. I pride myself on always keeping a clean home and would do the same for yours. I have a passion for working with young children and understand their developmental needs.
