Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello families! My name is Carly and I am just finishing up second year majoring in Economics and minoring in Child Psychology at McGill University. I love children and am quite good at keeping up with them in terms of energy! I have been babysitting for 7 years now, for children of all ages and families of all types. I have volunteered in many different kids drama productions, teaching them singing, dancing and acting as well as helping backstage with costumes and makeup. I have also assisted in leading a youth group for children ages 6 to 12 at my local church. In my opinion, being a nanny is all about building a strong, trusting relationship with the kids and family. I am also passionate about the combination of fun, carefree times with healthy discipline, specific to the child and family. Growing up, my favourite babysitters were the perfect mixture of kind, engaging and fun but most importantly they were my role models. I strive to be that type of nanny by being attentive, energetic and thoughtful. I love coming up with creative things to do but am also willing to help with homework whenever necessary. I am passionate about cooking and am very able to cook for the children as well as do light cleaning. I am able to work from May to August.
