Hi! My name is Lauren. I am 30 years old, and have just completed my Masters in social work. I'm on the lookout for part-time work before eventually transitioning to a full-time job (that is to say, I may only be available for part-time contracts!). My ideal schedule would be to work weekdays during the day, though I can be available on the occasional weeknight or evening if needed. I love spending time with children young and old; I have 2 years of experience caring for children as young as 8 months as a babysitter in Vancouver, and have also worked with groups of children as old as 12, coordinating day camps and offering private tutoring. Though English is my first language, I am fully bilingual, and happy communicating in both languages. I love spending time outside or playing games indoors when the weather is rainy or cold. I greatly enjoy cooking, and am happy completing light household tasks if needed. I'm also happy using my tutoring experience to provide homework help.
