Nanny Job in Whistler, British Columbia

Looking for a special person to join our family for a long term position helping to care for our son. Our happy and curious little superman is currently 18 months old. We are a loving, outdoorsy and fun Whistler family. I work approximately 12 shifts/month at various times of the day and my husband works monday-friday 6am-3pm. When we aren't working we love taking our son on hikes in the forest and teaching him all about trees, plants and animals. We also enjoy playing with other kids, going out to playgroups/gymnastics/swimming/music class/library storytimes etc and doing crafts, teaching him the alphabet and numbers, going to the park for free outside play time, dancing to music, reading books, and just generally having fun!! Our hope is to find someone who is reliable, will take initiative to help out whenever possible, and is honest, engaging, creative, compassionate and, most of all, one who will become part of our family. Currently our little boy is incredibly happy, with a contagious laugh and calm temperament. We're hoping to find someone that can teach him about the world and keep him smiling and active for all his days. We would like help 40hrs/wk with flexibility to help on the occasional early morning/evening/weekend. We are walking distance to the village/mountains/lake/beach so having your own car would be an asset but is not required.
