Hi there !! My name is Linna (Lee-na) and I am a kind, patient, down-to-earth soul who welcomes the opportunity to take care of your child/children 😊 BACKGROUND: There is nothing as rewarding as looking after others and seeing their eyes brighten up and the smiles grow on their faces. For as long as I can remember, I have had "mom" like qualities. Growing up my siblings and cousins would roll their eyes and call me "mother hen" because I would smother them with my maternal tendencies and bossy attitude. I want to make a positive impact on your child's life. Teach them that life is a beautiful gift and they are capable of achieving whatever their heart desires. I will respesct your personal and parental choices and will encourage them to follow your guidance. As for my own personal choice -- I do not have any Covid19 vaccinations nor do I plan on getting them. I understand that everyone has their views and I believe it is my body so it is my choice. Family means everything to me so I know how important and difficult choosing the right person to care for your loved ones can be. If given the chance -- I would be honored to be that person. EXPERIENCE: I have no children of my own (yet :P), so my 7yr old niece, 6yr old nephew, and my younger cousins mean the world to me. Over the past nearly decade I have had many experiences being a professional nanny/caregiver/babysitter, as well as a casual babysitter for family & friends. My most recent professional caregiver positions include being a live-in nanny for adorable energetic twin boys (age 6) followed by caring for the sweetest young man on the autism spectrum (age 26). I did take classes for basic first aid/CPR on adults and babies but a refreshser wouldn't hurt and I would be happy to complete a new course if that is your preference. AVAILABILITY: I have a very flexible work schedule and will work with you to meet yours. Favourably, I would work the weekdays (and Saturdays if needed) from as early as you need me until ~5pm. I am able to start next week November 21st, 2022. I will need December 22nd - January 4th off as my fiance and I will away visting family. Other than that I'm all yours!
