Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

About Me: My name is Erin, I am 25 years old, I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts and currently in my second degree for Elementary Education with a specialization in Fine Arts. I am about to be placed in a 5 week long practicum in a Montessori school this coming March/April and am very excited to develop a deeper understanding of the methods and gentle approach to teaching and learning. I love arts and crafts and will do many with your child if they enjoy them as well! I also have been coaching acrobatic and artistic gymnastics for the past 8 years, making me comfortable with multiples, and equipping me with energy to keep up with your little one(s). My ideal position: As of May 2024, I will be looking for a casual nanny position, 2-3 days a week , that will pair well with my part-time current Nannying schedule. I am available all summer, and potentially after September depending on my school schedule and practicum hours (but likely quite slim schedule as I will be a full-time student). I would love to have something continual, with set days/times each week so it is easier for me to plan for my current family! My experience: I currently nanny a 2.5 year old and have been with this family for 2 years, along with my previous nanny/babysitting experiences over the past 10 years with children aged 1-10 years. I will be continuing with them throughout May-September, but only a few days a week. This is very flexible and does not have certain days lined up yet. I am comfortable with meal prep (with personal experience with allergies and diet preferences for myself), light housework (i.e. kitchen cleanliness, playroom/toy cleanup, kids laundry, etc.). More details for you! -I live in Bankview, (west of Downtown), but I do have my own vehicle so I’m comfortable driving to your location within reason. -I have a valid Police/Vulnerability check, trained in First Aid/CPR/BLS (currently expired but will be re-certifying in August). I am trained in sport safety, such as: Safe Sport, Respect in Sport, Making Ethical Decisions, Making Head Way (concussions), Trampoline and many Gymnastics courses. -I also have a forward facing Graco 4Ever car seat installed my car, and a drivers abstract if desired. -Triple Covid Vaccinated I hope I hear back from you, and get to meet your family.
