Hi there! My name is Julie and I am currently Nannying Part Time for a family I have been with for 5 years now as well as work part time as a Relief Respite Specialist for children with special needs! I am currently looking for a Full Time position as a Family Nanny with a consistent schedule. I have experience working with children and youth from ages 2 through to 17. A little bit about me… I am a super passionate, artistic person. Some of my hobbies include playing guitar, dancing, reading, meeting new people and doing anything outdoors! I also love being around…kids! Children and youth will always hold a special place in my heart. I love learning from them each day as well as teaching them important life skills that I continue to learn and conquer as I grow. My current employer is a pre school teacher and has taught me a lot about respecting children’s boundaries, co-regulating their many colourful emotions, the importance of play, and so much more! I believe that children hold a strong voice in our society and it is our job as Care Givers to truly listen to them with open and kind ears and to communicate effectively when a problem needs to be solved.
