Hello, my name is Florence! I am a babysitter/nanny in Winnipeg, MB with experience babysitting and working with children in other capacities. I graduated high school last year and I am currently taking a gap year before starting university. I am looking for employment to fund my gap year travels and university studies. I am 18 years old. ** Please note that I will be away travelling from January 10 to April 3 ** I am available to work full-time, part-time or as an occasional babyistter. I am happy to help out with schoolwork, household chores, meal preparation, cleaning, etc. My childcare experience is outlined below: I have babysat on some weekends for two families since January 2023 (children ages 2, 4 and 6). I have taught ice skating to children (ages 2 and up) for the last 4 years as an instructor at the City of Winnipeg Learn to Skate program. I volunteered at the Assiniboine Park Zoo Camp (children ages 6-8) in the summer of 2021. I was an assistant coach to a ringette team (girls ages 7-8) in the 2019-202...... ringette season. I participated in a youth mentorship program, where I mentored a student from another school in grade 3, in the 2019-202...... school year. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and find it to be both rewarding and enlightening. I am enthusiastic, passionate and love to be outdoors and play.
