Well first things first, I love working with kids! My long term goal is to eventually be an elementary school teacher. I have always been good with kids and I enjoy the way they see things in the world. I love teaching them things and seeing them pick it up. Talking to them and learning about them I enjoy as well. I think kids are drawn to me because I listen to them and am willing to have fun with them. I would love the opportunity to work with your family and children! I have a large family with a lot of kids. I have babysat 6 kids aging 8 months to 9 years old for the whole weekend while the parents were at a curling event . One of the children has cerebral palsy as well, so some physical handicaps I had to deal with. This involved cooking, cleaning, feeding, bathing, playing with all the kids. As well as bed time duties and activities to keep them busy. I also volunteer in a dirt bike racing club that is mostly kids. Taking them for bike rides, playing games in the trees. Just having fun. those kids range from 3 to 12 I babysat as soon as I could growing up and had about 10 families I constantly babysat for. Both boys and girls and one set of twins as well. My duties included feeding, bathing, homework, cleaning and bedtime activities as well. The age ranges were from 2 to 10. I also helped at a before and afterschool care program while I was still in high school. the kids ranged from 5 to 12. My duties were playing and making sure they didn't get hurt and then signing in and out when their parents came and picked them up.
